MEP engineering for the Cedars-Sinai Marina del Rey (MDR) – Breast Health Clinic project supports the interior renovation of approximately 4,500 square feet of medical office space located at 4640 Admiralty Way in Marina del Rey, California. The tenant improvement transforms the existing space into a specialized breast health clinic designed to provide a comfortable, efficient, and patient-focused healthcare environment.
The renovated clinic includes a reception area, a new ADA-accessible restroom, mammography rooms, ultrasound rooms, and patient exam rooms. The project required a coordinated MEP engineering approach to support specialized medical spaces while providing flexibility during the early design phase, as the final space plan had not yet been developed.
Project Scope
MEP engineering services include HVAC design, electrical design, lighting design, and plumbing design for the medical office renovation. Building systems are designed to support diagnostic imaging rooms, clinical examination areas, patient waiting spaces, and staff support functions while integrating efficiently with the existing commercial building infrastructure.
