MEP engineering for the Schiaparelli – South Coast Plaza project supports the interior renovation of an approximately 1,700-square-foot luxury retail space at South Coast Plaza Shopping Center in Costa Mesa, California.
The project includes new and revised mechanical, electrical, lighting, and plumbing systems designed to support the boutique’s high-end retail environment. Engineering systems are carefully integrated with the architectural and interior design to provide customer comfort, effective merchandise presentation, reliable store operations, and a refined customer-facing environment.
Project Scope
MEP engineering services include new and revised HVAC, electrical power, lighting, and plumbing design throughout the approximately 1,700-square-foot boutique.
Mechanical systems are coordinated with the new retail layout to provide appropriate air distribution and thermal comfort. Electrical infrastructure supports lighting, merchandise displays, point-of-sale equipment, and other operational requirements.
Lighting and electrical systems require detailed coordination with the architectural design, specialty displays, millwork, and luxury finishes. Plumbing modifications are integrated with applicable back-of-house and employee support functions while coordinating with existing shopping center infrastructure.
