Project Overview

MEP engineering for the Gucci Grove Main Store project supports the comprehensive interior renovation of an approximately 8,990-square-foot, two-story luxury retail store at The Grove Shopping Center in Los Angeles, California.

The project includes new and revised mechanical, electrical, lighting, and plumbing systems designed to support Gucci’s high-end retail environment. Engineering systems are carefully coordinated with the architectural and interior design to enhance customer comfort, merchandise presentation, employee operations, and overall store functionality.

The store’s existing elevator will remain, requiring the renovated MEP infrastructure to be carefully integrated with existing vertical transportation and base-building systems.

Project Scope

MEP engineering services include full design for HVAC, electrical power, lighting, and plumbing systems throughout both levels of the approximately 8,990-square-foot retail space.

The engineering design supports customer-facing sales areas, merchandise displays, fitting and consultation spaces, point-of-sale functions, storage, employee areas, and associated back-of-house spaces.

New and revised systems are integrated with the existing shopping center infrastructure while maintaining the existing elevator. Close multidisciplinary coordination ensures that MEP components work effectively within the highly detailed architectural environment of the luxury retail store.
