Project Overview
MEP engineering for the Dolce & Gabbana Temporary Store – Rodeo Drive project supports the interior renovation of approximately 9,500 square feet of high-end retail space located at 248 North Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills, California.
The project encompasses a two-story luxury retail environment requiring new and revised electrical power, lighting, and HVAC systems. As a temporary retail location for Dolce & Gabbana, the project requires an efficient engineering approach that supports luxury retail operations while integrating new systems with the existing building infrastructure.
Because the final architectural space plans were still under development at the beginning of the project, the MEP design also required flexibility to accommodate evolving layouts and brand requirements.
Project Scope
MEP engineering services include new and revised HVAC, electrical power, and lighting design throughout the approximately 9,500-square-foot, two-story retail space.
Mechanical systems are coordinated with the renovated sales and support areas to provide appropriate thermal comfort throughout the store. Electrical infrastructure supports retail operations, merchandise displays, point-of-sale functions, specialty equipment, and architectural lighting.
Lighting systems are closely coordinated with the interior architecture and merchandise presentation to support the sophisticated visual environment expected of a luxury fashion boutique.
