A new, ground-up multi-purpose building at Carlthorp School in Santa Monica, designed to serve both students and the wider community.
The 20,000 sq ft facility includes a 300-seat auditorium, basketball court gym, subterranean parking for 60+ vehicles, restrooms for adults and children, an 80-person community room, 20-person breakout rooms, four private offices, and an expanded outdoor field, providing flexible spaces for education, recreation, and community events.
We work closely with architects to align MEP systems with both design intent and functional performance. Our coordination-driven approach ensures that complex program elements—such as auditoriums and gymnasiums—are fully integrated without compromising architectural clarity or constructability.
Our team prioritizes responsiveness and documentation quality, helping reduce RFIs and streamline permitting. By anticipating coordination challenges early, we support smoother construction and more predictable project outcomes for education facilities and community-focused developments.
We support ground-up education facilities, community-focused developments, multi-purpose buildings, and institutional projects requiring integrated MEP engineering and coordinated system design.
If you’re designing a multi-use education or community facility, early MEP coordination can help align performance, flexibility, and constructability from the start. Let’s collaborate to support your next project.
