Project Overview

MEP engineering for the Chef Fei Restaurant project supports the development of a new high-end dining destination located within the Westfield UTC shopping center in San Diego, California. The project includes approximately 6,700 square feet of interior restaurant space and an additional 1,300-square-foot outdoor patio, creating an upscale dining experience that combines sophisticated interiors with inviting outdoor seating.

This luxury restaurant requires a coordinated MEP engineering approach to support commercial kitchen operations, customer comfort, and efficient building performance while integrating seamlessly within an existing retail environment.

Project Scope

MEP engineering services include HVAC design, electrical design, lighting design, and plumbing design for the new restaurant. The scope encompasses the commercial kitchen, dining areas, support spaces, and exterior patio, with all areas designed under a single coordinated plan check and permit package.
