MEP engineering for the Balenciaga – 418 North Rodeo project supports the interior renovation of an approximately 5,000-square-foot, two-story luxury retail store located at 418 North Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills, California.
Situated within one of Southern California’s premier luxury retail districts, the project renovates the existing boutique to support Balenciaga’s high-end retail environment. The space includes open sales areas, fitting rooms, a cash desk and point-of-sale area, pantry, manager’s office, storage, and associated support spaces.
The project requires a coordinated MEP engineering approach to integrate new and revised building systems with the architectural and interior design while supporting customer comfort, merchandise presentation, employee operations, and the functional requirements of a premium retail environment.
Project Scope
MEP engineering services include new and revised HVAC, electrical power, lighting, and plumbing design throughout both levels of the retail store.
Building systems are coordinated to support sales floors, fitting rooms, point-of-sale functions, employee and management areas, storage, and back-of-house spaces.
