Project Overview
Electrical engineering for the Sunset & 3rd Street Buildings – Electrical Service Upgrades project supports utility service improvements at three separate properties in Los Angeles, California.
The project includes preparation of the required electrical drawings, engineering calculations, and utility applications for service upgrades at 8700 West 3rd Street, 8713 West 3rd Street, and 7627 Sunset Boulevard.
Because each property has its own electrical service and site conditions, each building will be developed as a separate drawing package for coordination, review, and implementation.
Project Scope
MEP Engineering provided electrical engineering services necessary to support the proposed utility service upgrades at all three properties.
The scope included evaluating the electrical service requirements, preparing engineering drawings and calculations, and developing the documentation necessary for utility applications.
Each property was treated independently, allowing the electrical service upgrade documents to reflect the existing conditions and requirements specific to each building.
