The project involves the replacement of eleven rooftop HVAC units at 5000 Hollywood Boulevard in Los Angeles, California. The scope includes providing new HVAC equipment along with updated rooftop main ductwork, and new gas and electrical utility connections to replace the existing systems, ensuring improved performance and code compliance.

Mechanical Engineering
Our mechanical scope began with a review of existing drawings followed by a detailed site investigation to verify current HVAC unit installation, clearances, and access requirements. We assessed new unit supply and return configurations to ensure seamless integration with the existing ductwork and minimize system rework. The team also evaluated the feasibility of reusing existing structural supports for the replacement units. Complete mechanical drawings were prepared for permit and pricing, and we facilitated the plan check approval process.
Electrical Engineering
Our electrical services included a review of existing record documents and on-site assessment of current electrical conditions. We identified suitable points of connection for the new HVAC equipment and designed the required power distribution to support the upgraded system. Electrical drawings were prepared for permit submittal and contractor pricing.
