The project involves the development of a new four-unit small-lot subdivision located at 226 Arena Street in El Segundo, California. Our scope includes the design of a new electrical utility power system to support the development, along with a comprehensive review of the Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) interior unit plans to ensure functionality, efficiency, and code compliance throughout the project.
Electrical Engineering
Our electrical scope includes preparing the necessary drawings and calculations for a new electrical utility service. This includes developing a complete single-line diagram, performing building load calculations, and coordinating with the utility service representative and dry utility consultant as needed. While site plans and application forms will be prepared by others, we ensure all technical requirements are met to support a smooth service application process. Encroachment applications are not included in this scope.
MEP Interior Unit Plan Design Review
We provide a comprehensive review of the interior unit plans to ensure full mechanical, electrical, and plumbing compliance. This includes reviewing architectural schemes for code adherence, sizing plumbing piping and mechanical ducting, preparing electrical panel schedules and specifications, and providing general MEP notes and specifications to guide the construction and permitting process.
