This project involves the full interior renovation of a two-story standalone high-end retail space located at 11 Rue Samuel Fahlberg, 97133 Gustavia, St. Barthelemy. The scope includes the development of new and revised designs for the power, lighting, HVAC, and plumbing systems to support the elevated retail experience.
Electrical Engineering
Our electrical scope covers a full interior system design, beginning with a review of existing documentation and conditions. Services include system capacity assessment and coordination of any required utility upgrades. We provide power and lighting circuiting plans, lighting control diagrams, emergency egress lighting, power distribution layouts, single-line diagrams, and required voltage drop and short circuit calculations. Low-voltage conduit pathways and power provisions for mechanical, plumbing, and low-voltage systems are also included. (Architect to provide lighting and power device layouts; low-voltage design by others.)
Mechanical Engineering
Mechanical services include a review of existing conditions and the design of the HVAC system upgrades required for the space. This includes zoning diagrams, specification of new HVAC equipment, new air distribution layouts, supply and return diffusers, restroom exhaust systems, and ventilation for new water heaters as needed.
Plumbing Engineering
Plumbing services include a review of existing conditions and the design of new plumbing routing to support added program requirements. Work includes piping for new restroom and breakroom fixtures, condensate drainage for HVAC equipment, water heater piping as required, and preparation of plumbing riser diagrams.
