The project involved the interior renovation of an open office area into private offices within an existing tenant suite at 300 North Lake Avenue, Pasadena, California. Renovation work included updates to mechanical, power, and lighting systems to support the new office layout and functionality.
Electrical Engineering
Electrical design included reviewing existing conditions, determining tenant points of connection, and evaluating system capacity for additional loads. Services comprised interior lighting circuiting, lighting control diagrams, Title 24 compliance calculations, emergency egress lighting layouts, power circuit plans, low-voltage conduit coordination, and single-line diagrams. Lighting fixture layouts and low-voltage design were provided by the Architect or manufacturer.
Mechanical Engineering
Mechanical scope included reviewing existing conditions, preparing zoning diagrams, specifying and designing new HVAC equipment, developing air distribution layouts, designing return and supply diffusers, and providing Title 24 mechanical energy compliance calculations.
