In 2022, the Lodge Museum of Cast Iron opened offering visitors an interactive experience including simulated cast iron skillet production and culinary classes. The museum boasts the world’s largest cast iron skillet which measures 18 feet and weighs 14,360 pounds.
A complete renovation of the existing warehouse structure was performed in two phases; Phase 1 of the museum design occurred in 2021, while Phase 2 was launched in 2022 and included both a kitchen and restaurant renovation.
Notable design elements for this project included the creation of MEP 3D Isometric plans as well as complex & substantial site design coordination with partners throughout the process.
