This tenant improvement project included an interior office remodel for a Los Angeles County multi-purpose facility in Palmdale, California.
Project Scope
Electrical Engineering
Services include review of as-built/record drawings, site observation, and evaluation of existing electrical service and system capacity. The scope covers design of the interior electrical system, including interior lighting circuiting plans (fixture layouts by Architect), Title 24 lighting control diagrams, state lighting energy compliance calculations and forms, emergency egress lighting layouts and photometric calculations, power circuit plans for general, mechanical, and plumbing loads, low-voltage conduit coordination, single-line diagrams, and voltage drop and short-circuit (AIC) calculations. Photometric calculations for normal conditions and low-voltage device specifications are provided by others.
Mechanical Engineering
Scope includes review of as-built drawings and site conditions, preparation of zoning diagrams, design of all new HVAC equipment (including additional Roof Top Units), air distribution layouts, and return and supply diffusers, as well as state mechanical energy compliance calculations and forms.
Plumbing Engineering
Services include review of as-built drawings, site observation, and design of new restrooms, plumbing fixtures for breakrooms and wellness rooms, and drainage for HVAC equipment.
