Electrical Engineering Scope

Design services for this project included comprehensive Electrical Engineering support to ensure safe, efficient, and code-compliant power distribution. Key services provided:

• Site Evaluation and Documentation Review
  • Reviewed available as-built and record drawings.
  • Assessed existing site conditions to identify the tenant’s electrical service connection point.
  • Noted that conduit and feeder sizes, as well as distances from the tenant space, could not be confirmed during site visits and may require further investigation by others.
• System Capacity and Load Analysis
  • Evaluated the existing electrical system’s capacity and anticipated loads.
  • Determined the need for additional electrical equipment such as panels and transformers.
• Interior Power System Design
  • Developed a power circuit plan based on general power requirements.
  • Integrated Architect-provided power/receptacle layout (CAD format).
  • Coordinated 120/208V power provisions for systems equipment.
  • Incorporated empty conduit layouts for low voltage systems based on sketches provided by others.
  • All low voltage device specifications, layout, and wiring were provided by others.
• Technical Documentation and Calculations
  • Produced single line diagrams based on field observations and available documentation.
  • Performed voltage drop and short circuit (AIC) calculations as required and as data permitted.
