Project Overview

The project involves the interior lighting renovation of common areas within a low-rise medical office building located at 3440 Lomita Boulevard in Torrance, California. Based on design information received on January 28, 2025, the scope includes updated lighting improvements for corridors, restrooms, and elevator lobbies to enhance functionality, energy efficiency, and overall visual comfort throughout the shared spaces.

Project Scope

Electrical Engineering
Scope of services includes a review of available as-built drawings and site observations to assess existing electrical conditions and point of connection. The team evaluates system capacity and projected loads to determine if additional electrical equipment is required. Services include the design of the interior electrical system, preparation of lighting circuiting plans (lighting layout and fixture specifications by Architect), Title 24–compliant lighting control diagrams, state lighting energy compliance documentation, and emergency egress lighting layouts with required photometric calculations. A single-line diagram will be provided based on field observations and/or available as-built information.
